Description
The complete encrypted electronic evidence discovery solution
Password recovery for over 390 file types
MS Office, PDF, Zip and RAR, QuickBooks, FileMaker, Lotus Notes, Bitcoin wallets, Apple iTunes Backup, Mac OS X Keychain, password managers, and many other popular applications.
GPU acceleration &
resource management
Accelerated password recovery with multiple computers, NVIDIA, AMD, and Intel Arc GPUs, and Rainbow Tables. Built-in Resource Manager makes it easy to set up and monitor a hardware cluster.
Live memory
analysis
Analyzes memory images and hibernation files and extracts encryption keys for hard disks and files and passwords for Windows/Mac accounts and websites. Acquires memory of Windows, Linux, and Mac computers.
Batch
processing
Runs password recovery tasks for multiple files and FDE images without user interaction. Smart resource allocation algorithm for concurrent file processing minimizes hardware idle time. Fast transferring of the password recovery process to another computer using digests instead of large files or disk images. Automatic check of the recovered passwords for previous and skipped files in a session.
Passware Kit Ultimate is an all-purpose encryption detection and decryption solution that allows investigators to access data from computers, disks, files, and mobile devices.
This solution includes Passware Kit Forensic (PKF) and Passware Kit Mobile (PKM), as well as the Device Decryption Add-on for Western Digital drives, Bitlocker-encrypted Lenovo ThinkPads with TPM 2.0, and disks for Macs with Apple T2 Security Chips. Also included are ten (10) Passware Kit Agents and Passware Certified Examiner (PCE) online training.
Decrypting BitLocker-protected devices remains one of the most frequent challenges in the computer forensics community. Passware continues to research new methods to unlock such devices and reduce decryption times. In its final release of the year, Passware introduces a new solution for AMD Zen-based desktops protected with BitLocker and firmware TPM (fTPM), even when a PIN is set.
Other highlights of the 2026 v1 release include support for Intel Arc GPU, removal of invalid rules from hashcat rule files, support for ZIP hashes, and a new built-in dictionary of more than 550,000 frequently used passwords.
